Vol. 1, No. 1Extra edition

Sends from your own domain and counts real readers, not link scanners

extraextra.ai

The newsletter tool for founders, coaches and creators who run their own list

Send your newsletter Answer every reply

extraextra.ai sends your campaigns, shows which people really read them, and drafts an answer to every reply from what you have already written. You check it and press Send.

The AI Inbox is in early access, switched on project by project.

Sending is half the job. The other half comes back as replies

A newsletter is how you fill a course, book a call or sell what you make. extraextra.ai collects your signups with their consent on record, sends from your own domain, and the morning after shows who really read it. The mail filters that click every link are left out, so each click is a person.

Then the replies come in. When does it start? Is it recorded? Can we talk first? They come from the readers closest to saying yes, and they land between everything else you have to do.

Most of the answers are already written somewhere: an old email, your website, the guide you made. So each reply arrives with an answer drafted from them, in your voice, with your sign-off and booking link. You read it, change what you like, and press Send. Nothing goes out on its own.

Re: A sample lesson from the workshop

From Jo Park, replying to Friday Notes

Hi Ren,

Loved the sample lesson in Tuesday's email. Is the workshop online or in person? I travel a lot for work, so I'd probably miss a session or two.

When it doesn't know, it asks you once

Some answers only you have. The draft says so instead of making one up, and guesses what you might say. Take the guess, fix what is wrong, and keep Remember ticked: it goes into your FAQ, so the next draft that needs it already has your answer. Each one still waits for you to press Send.

From Sam Lee, replying to Friday Notes

Can I join in week two? I'm away for the first week.

Stop press: this one needs you

Nothing Ren has written says whether someone can start late, so the draft leaves that part to Ren.

Teach it (nothing is emailed)FAQ 14

The typed text is the draft's guess. Press to use it, then fix anything that's wrong.

It answers from what you have written

Every draft reads your newest 12 sent emails, plus whatever you add in AI settings: questions and answers for the FAQ, pages from your website, and files such as a PDF guide. Tell it who is answering and how you sound, add a booking link for when a call would help, and choose the name it signs off with. It is told never to invent prices, dates or promises.

Nothing goes to press until you press Send

Replies to your campaigns come into the Inbox matched to the email they answer, and a copy still lands in your own inbox. You read each draft, change what you like, and send it, or write your own. Out-of-office and other automatic replies are filed and left alone. When someone asks to leave, the draft says so and offers to unsubscribe them in one press.

Circulation

A real send: Element Education, Oct 28, 114 people

A4

112 arrived, 60 opened, and 5 people clicked through

7 more inboxes only looked like clicks: a mail filter opened the links first, and extraextra.ai left them out. Every number you read is a person.

Every person who clicked also opened. All 7 scanner inboxes opened too, so 60 opened in all and 52 never did.

Signups arrive with their consent on record

Put a hosted signup page anywhere you can paste a link, or embed the form on your own site. Each subscriber keeps the exact words they agreed to, the form, the time and the address they signed up from. Add groups, a welcome email, an import of the list you already have, or lead forms from Google Ads.

Write in plain text, and it reads right everywhere

Campaigns are written in Markdown: headings, lists, links, a first name where you want one, and a button on a line of its own. Every email goes out in one clean template, with buttons Outlook can draw and a plain-text copy alongside. Send yourself a test first.

Nothing goes out by accident

Before a campaign goes out, extraextra.ai counts who it will reach and asks you to type that number back. Send it now, schedule it, or set up a sequence of emails a set number of days apart. Anyone who unsubscribes mid-send is skipped from that moment.

Audience: 114 people. Type the number to send

Every recipient, the morning after

The report lists every recipient: whether it arrived, whether they opened it, which links they clicked, and whether they left. Scanner clicks are flagged and kept out of the totals. Filter the list and save the people you see as a group for the follow-up.

Dead addresses leave on their own

Hard bounces and spam complaints are suppressed the moment they come in, and an address that keeps bouncing is dropped too, so mailbox providers keep trusting you. Every email carries the one-click unsubscribe Gmail and Yahoo ask bulk senders for.

Mail comes from your domain, not ours

Add the domain you send from and extraextra.ai gives you the DNS records to put in place, then checks them for you. Every new project is reviewed before it can send, and sends within a daily limit while it builds a record.

Every list you run, under one sign-in

Each project has its own subscribers, forms, sender, footer and campaigns, and nothing crosses between them. Invite people to the projects they work on, and only those.

Questions

What people ask before they start

B4

Does it send anything on its own?
No. Every draft waits in the Inbox until you press Send, and you can always write your own instead. Out-of-office and other automatic replies are filed and never answered.
Where do the answers come from?
Your newest 12 sent emails, plus what you add in AI settings: questions and answers, pages from your website, and files such as a PDF guide. It is told never to invent prices, dates or promises.
What if it doesn't know?
The draft says so and leaves that part to you. Answer it once with Remember ticked and it goes into your FAQ, so the next draft that needs it uses your answer. You still press Send.
Do replies still reach my own inbox?
Yes. Replies come into extraextra.ai matched to the email they answer, and a copy still lands at your own reply-to address.
Can I bring the list I already have?
Yes. Import a CSV, embed a signup form on your site, or connect lead forms from Google Ads.
Do I need my own domain?
Yes, mail goes out from your domain. Add it and extraextra.ai gives you the DNS records and checks them. New projects are reviewed before they send.
Can I run more than one list?
Yes. Each project keeps its own subscribers, forms, sender and campaigns, all under one sign-in.
How do I get the AI Inbox?
It is in early access and is switched on project by project. Create an account and set up your first project to start.
